Over at Fluxblog, Matt wonders what happens to all the expressly political music of the past eight years. My hunch is that it will be part of that history thing that Bush insists will determine his administration’s worth. Which is a drag for him, since by the numbers he’ll be condemned as roundly as by any more prosaic standards.

And don’t give me no Toby Keith. The self-identified Democrat says he supports Da Troops, not the war. It’s a long shot, but I’d love to hear him make that clear with a cover of “Traveling Soldier.”
