In which the niggling doubts and throwaway thoughts one has throughout the day are raised to heroic proportion, or at least suffused into the city’s skyline. The polymath Stan Mastalerz hatched this one, and I’m proud to have worked in true collaboration with him.
The life of this eight-foot-tall paper lantern was brief: displayed at Secluded Alley Works in October 2003, set ablaze at Golden Gardens just before Thanksgiving.
